Frequently asked questions

What actually happened to Bose SoundTouch?

Bose announced in October 2025 that it was ending SoundTouch's cloud service — originally planned for February 18, 2026, later pushed back to May 6, 2026, with account data deleted on May 15, 2026. Once it's off, presets, in-app music browsing, and Alexa voice control stop working; Bluetooth, AUX, AirPlay, and Spotify Connect keep working on their own. See Bose's official announcement.

What does "made-to-order" mean?

Your audiorewire unit is assembled after you order it, not taken from a shelf. Once you pay, we source the components, hand-assemble your unit, configure it with the device name and any special requests you gave at checkout, test it, and ship it — usually within 2–3 business days.

Why can't I return it once it ships?

Because it is built and configured specifically for your order, not as standard resellable stock. EU law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(d)) excludes made-to-order goods like this from the usual 14-day right of withdrawal.

Can I still cancel after I've ordered?

Yes — within 2 hours of placing your order, as long as assembly hasn't started yet, you can cancel from your order tracking page for a full refund. After that window, or once assembly has begun, the order is final.

What if my unit arrives broken?

We test every unit before it ships. If yours arrives with a manufacturing defect, contact support from your order page and we'll repair or replace it at no cost — this is separate from, and doesn't reduce, your normal statutory rights.

How long does assembly take?

Typically 2–3 business days from payment to shipment. You'll get an email and a tracking page update at every step.

What's included in the price?

Everything shown on the order page: the hardware, assembly, testing, and packaging — plus shipping with tracking. No subscription, no renewal.
